School policies

  • Classes are held from 8:45am-3:15pm, Monday-Friday (except holidays) with a lunch period from 11:50-12:45pm.
  • Students are required to speak only in English while at the school (this includes both inside and outside the classroom and during any school events).
  • Students are required to attend regularly. The school has very strict rules when it comes to absences and tardies.
  • There is no school uniform. However, students must dress in professional office wear while at the institute.
  • Cell phones are not permitted at the institute.
  • Cheating of any kind is not tolerated. This includes copying test answers or homework from a friend or copying from a book or magazine without giving credit
  • Students must maintain adequate grades throughout the year in order to graduate. Grades are based on daily assignments and participation, not just exams.
  • Students are required to sign an honour code at the beginning of the year and maintain a good character record, both inside and outside the school, throughout their time as a BHA student.
